Renault Unveils 4×4 Electric Savane Concept in Global Premiere at Roland-Garros 2025

SME News Europe.Renault has officially unveiled its highly anticipated Renault 4 Savane 4×4 Concept during a spectacular global premiere at Roland-Garros 2025, reinforcing its status as a pioneer in electric mobility and design innovation. The reveal took place as part of Renault’s fourth consecutive year as a premium partner of the French Open tennis tournament, running from 19 May to 8 June 2025.

Inspired by the iconic Renault 4, the new Savane Concept reimagines the legendary model as a go-anywhere, all-electric off-roader. With dual electric motors and four-wheel drive, it’s built for versatility, performance, and a sustainable future. The design combines modern ruggedness with retro charm, making it as striking in the city as it is capable on rough terrain.

Innovation on Display

The Renault 4 Savane 4×4 is being showcased alongside two standout models:

  • The Renault 5 Turbo 3E, a high-performance electric “mini-supercar” making its public debut
  • The Renault 5 E-Tech Roland-Garros Special Edition, celebrating the brand’s close ties with the tournament

Together, the lineup highlights Renault’s commitment to blending heritage with next-generation electric innovation.

Sustainable Transport for Roland-Garros

As the official transport partner of the 2025 French Open, Renault is providing a fleet of 187 electrified vehicles, including the Scenic E-Tech electric and Rafale full hybrid E-Tech. For the second year in a row, two autonomous electric shuttles will serve fans, running between Porte d’Auteuil and the stadium village.

Supporting Talent and Social Impact

Renault also continues to spotlight “La Lignée”, a tennis talent support program featuring ambassadors Ugo Humbert, Casper Ruud, Félix Auger-Aliassime, Diede de Groot, and Luca Van Assche. In addition, the brand is advancing its social initiative “Give Me 5”, dedicated to empowering youth through sport and community engagement.
